Step-by-step guide for optimal results
Substrates must be free of any contamination that may prevent proper adhesion.
Pour 40 kg of CERAFIX 555 into 8–12 litres of clean water slowly while mixing to obtain a homogeneous, lump-free paste. Use a low-speed mixer for best results. Do not add any unapproved components
Allow the mix to stand for 5–10 minutes to mature, then remix for 1–2 minutes before use.
For optimal adhesion, first spread the adhesive onto the substrate using the flat side of a notched trowel, then comb using the toothed side. Select the notch size appropriate to tile dimensions
The open time is approximately 20 minutes. Press tiles firmly into the adhesive within this time.
In unfavorable conditions (high temperature, low humidity, wind), the open me may decrease. If it is exceeded, remove and discard the adhesive.
Approx. 2.5 – 4.5 kg/m² depending on trowel notch size, tile dimensions, and substrate texture.
